DOJO STUDENTS EARN NATIONAL TITLES

The United States Karate Alliance National Championships were held March 28 & 29 in Albuquerque, NM. Rapides Karate was well represented by Bekah Rayburn, Zach McLaren and Marissa Williams.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zach McLaren claimed 2 National Championships by placing 1st in his Full-Contact Koshiki and Team Kumite Divisions. Zach also earned 2nd place in both Point Kumite and Kata in addition to 3rd place in Weapons.

Marissa Williams earned her first National Championship by placing 1st in the Coloured Belt Women Kata Division.

We are proud of the hard work, spirited competition and sportsmanship showed by all of our competitors. Congratulations!
